My friend and I went in for a quick bite before the fireworks display, and we were greeted with a rather moody hello upon arriving, and it was pointed out we were very early for out 5:30pm booking (we turned up 15mins early). we chose to ignore the tone of the young girl at the front and sat down at our table.
We ordered our two courses along with the complimentary glass of wine with the offer purchased. (It took 20minutes of us sitting there before they asked us for our order.) when they returned with the meal, we asked if we could just have a bottle of the house white wine with our meal. 15minutes passed nobody checked on how our meal was and no sign of the wine. We then asked a second member of staff who said they would bring it, again after another long wait there was nothing and we called over the first member of staff we had asked for the wine. Eventually it was brought but by this point our meal was nearly finished.
They gave us the wrong bill at the end and so i had to get that fixed, then nobody came to collect our money and we had no choice but to leave a tip for terrible service .
I will not be returning to the restaurant after that experience. terrible customer service and a bad dining experience.
