Arta Review

  • Rating Rating 3.0/5
We visited Arta on Friday night on a special deal that included a starter of bread and olives, six tapas and a bottle of wine for just £21.95 per couple. The bread and olives starter came with dip of olive oil and blasamic vinegar-this was ok as a starter but the olives were very very salty! Then we ordered our tapas from the menu- tiger prawns in chilli and coriander (nice, but not very many, maybe just five or six!), paella (bit overdone), Chicken skewers (very dry and cold!), patatas bravas (if they got this wrong, I would be worried!!) Meatballs (dry and tastless) and lastly a spanish tortilla-very nice, just not enough! The wine with dinner was lovely and great tasting-that was the best part of the meal. I love the ambience of arta but it lacked any atmosphere on this night and we were not given great customer service by just one waiter-seen by the whole waiting staff! Overall, you get what you pay for and that was really evident!
