My first visit to the Buttery was in '76 when it was the haunt of the city "professionals" and not really for engineering sales types - like me! I needn't have worried, as the welcome and care - and quality of food - ensured it would be my future default special occasion restaurant. Spending Father's day there was therefore a bit of a no brainer as todays Buttery is, in my opinion, even better than the original establishment, with Maddie and the team ensuring that everyone has a memorable visit. The food around our table was all superb and attention to service detail was flawless - thanks for making yet another occasion special. My endorsement was to reserve a table for a my forthcoming birthday in July - where better to celebrate becoming a pensioner? Simply superb and without a doubt, one of Glasgow's finest eateries.
