This booking was for me and my daughter and granddaughter (3). I had asked ahead for a children's menu however my daughter had looked online and selected the wee ones food beforehand.
When we got there we were directed to a table. The waiter disappeared and about two, three other waiters asked us if we were being attended to. We thought we were = but another waiter then appeared to take our order. Not very friendly and informed us that he was unsure what my granddaughter could have to order and suggested fish fingers. We asked for cheeseburger and chips that was on the childrens menu and he went to the kitchen to ask. on his return he said that the chef would do the dish but was very unhappy about it as he was here to cook indian food.
The service was terrible. We never knew who was supposed to be taking the order for food or drinks. The food was mediocre however I just ate it as by that time we were hungry and did not want to have to wait another half an hour or more. The chicken pakora beforehand was tasteless.
As part of the childrens set menu there was ice cream included. When we received the bill we were charged £4.95 for the meal AND £4,95 for two small scoops of ice cream for the wee one. on querying this there was a significant fuss made and we could hear a debate going on about what to charge. my daughter had to show the online menu but if she had not had this to hand I am sure they would not have deducted this from our bill.
A bland meal, a long wait, several mix ups later and no one seemed to know what the other was doing. Will never return.
