    Fantastic experience

Four of us ordered different meals from pre theatre menu. We all agreed it was one of the best meals we have had for a very long tine. Freshly cooked, piping hot. Extremely good value for money. Staff attentive and friendly, restaurant very well presented. Will be back. A great place to relax and catch up with friends. Thank you.

Modern Italian in Glasgow city centre

Verona – in Glasgow, not Italy – is a modern Italian restaurant on the city centre side of West Regent Street, ideally
located for both the Kings Theatre and Theatre Royal. The staff are very pleasant and attentive and the atmosphere is friendly making it perfect for a family or romantic meal.

Fresh Italian food

Verona has lunch and a la carte menus as well as a great value for money pre theatre menu. Each have an extensive pasta and pizza selection with highlights including the pizza Bianca – pizza topped with cream, mascarpone cheese, mozzarella and spinach – and the gambretti olio e pepperoncino – pan fried king prawns in garlic, fresh chillies and cherry tomatoes served with tagliatelle.

There are also a range of risottos, meat and fish dishes as well as many vegetarian options.

Close to Cineworld cinema

Verona is ideally placed to enjoy a meal before or after going to Cineworld cinema or the nearby King’s Theatre. It is close to Buchanan Street, the main shopping area of Glasgow.

There are numerous bus routes nearby as well as paid on street parking. Buchanan Street underground and Queen Street train station are around a five minute walk away.
