The Pipers' Tryst Review

  • Rating Rating 2.6/5
This was a bit of a disappointment. The £10 for two courses + glass of wine seemed like excellent value. The starters were good, however the main course was dreadful. The haggis was cloy and tasteless- just all suet! We asked for a dessert which was written on the board (out of out sight) and were not told the price. The "scottish" chees selection consisted of Brie, possibly stilton or danish blue and the only thing that saved it was a decent cheddar. However at £6.95, it was a big let down.
