The Pipers' Tryst Review

  • Rating Rating 3.6/5
I always look forward to going to The Piper's Tryst but unfortunately this visit was a bit of a disapointment. my husband's choice of chicken and black pudding (I believe) was delicious but my chicken and goats cheese salad was bland, tasteless and boring. A plateful of dry mixed green leaves, two tiny tomarto's and 3 slice of cucumber accompanied by dry, tasteless chicken pieces is not my idea of a salad. The only redeeming feature of this 'dish' was the tiny amount of goats cheese sprinkled over the mound of lettuce. A poor choice and a poor dish. Saying that, the staff were very nice and apologetic - it wasn't their fault as I said just a poor choice on my behalf.
