The Pipers' Tryst Review

  • Rating Not up to expectations (Rating 3.2/5)
Having eaten very nice meals here in the past, we brought a visitor here before going to the theatre. My haggis pakoras were nice but the sauce was not as described. My ravioli was undercooked and in a deep lake of butter that was supposed to be something scottish. My creme brulee had a strange texture, otherwise OK. My companions' goat cheese starter was enjoyed, but not the smoked fish risotto. All in all rather embarrassing to have brought a visitor here. Service was great, delivered with nice smiles!
