The Pipers' Tryst Review

  • Rating Great value (Rating 4/5)
Starters were very tasty. Cullen skink, unusually, had more fish than potato-excellent. Smoked haddock and black pudding go surprisingly well. Personally, I would have preferred a crepe with combo + sauce centre rather than pancake stack. Both chose same main. Duck beautifully cooked...sadly was rather overwhelmed by strong bean/chorizo stew it was served in.
