The Pipers' Tryst Review

  • Rating Scottish Platter Worth Sharing (Rating 4.6/5)
We shared the Scottish platter on a 5pm Big Deal at the Piper's Tryst. Located in the Piping Centre this bar/ restaurant can be found right at the top of Hope Street and only a couple of minutes from Cowcaddens Underground. The platter was a great selection including smoked salmon & capers, haggis bonbons, piping hot macaroni cheese, tattie scones with black pudding, chutney, a small salad, cheese and tiny oatcakes and bread. This delicious lunch was washed down with a glass of New Zealand sauvignon blanc and a rich Aussie cabernet sauvignon. The food was served on a large slate and was well presented. The staff were friendly efficient and I would highly recommend this option. Definitely worth a visit.
