Rating Great service & wonderful vintage feel (Rating 4.6/5)
The Tearooms feels like you've got back to a quainter, cosier time. The decor has lots of vintage pieces, from old tea sets to wood panelling and the old music only adds to the experience (I would say however, the TV set on the wall is out of place).
We went for the £11.50 2 course high tea and it was great value for money. The seabass on mash was delicious and there was plentiful supply of bread and butter and tea. There was plenty of choice in the cake cabinet for our second course. We were too full so the waitress packed it up for us to take home and enjoy later.
The service was great, the waitress was lovely and went out of her way to give us a nice experience.
