The Tearooms at Butterfly and the Pig Review

  • Rating Vintage and quirky (Rating 3.4/5)
Booked through for a quick high tea before a musical at King's theatre. £12.50 for a main meal with slice of cake and tea/coffee. We both choose the seabass, mash & salad. For dessert I had the banana and caramel cake, and my friend had the carrot cake - all the cakes in the display wall had a homemade look and taste. They serve tea pigs tea and I found the pot of chocolate flake tea very nice. The decor of the place was very vintage as was all the crockery, etc. I actually liked the quirky, vintage feel of the place and so did my friend - will definitely drag my hubby along for a return visit. Our server was friendly and efficient enough with 3 other tables in/out during our visit.
