We can't wait to go back!
Would definitely recommend Tempus restaurant in Grand Central. Brilliant service, staff were extremely helpful. Had the 2 course deal with prosecco. The slow cook shoulder of pork with fondant potatoes was delicious. Well worth a visit!

Modern Scottish city centre restaurant
The Grand Central is one of Glasgow’s landmark hotels and it has welcomed everyone from Churchill to Frank Sinatra. Tempus restaurant is within Grand Central and one of the city centre’s dining hotspots.
Two original Italian, Murano glass chandeliers and large arched windows along with high ceilings and traditional decor create a sumptuous and light venue. The restaurant still, however, manages to be a relaxed venue for a meal.
Locally sourced & elegant menus
Tempus serves modern Scottish food and the kitchen has won awards for its locally sourced, seasonal menus. The menus are elegant, sophisticated and a great showcase for Scottish produce.
The Market Menu changes regularly depending on local suppliers but typical starters could be orange pork tenderloin terrine on warm brioche with fruit chutney or Tempus beetroot salmon gravlax.
Main courses might include pan fried crisp fillet of sea bream with spiced basmati rice, crisp vegetables and Kerala spiced coconut sauce.
After dinner you can relax in the separate bar and choose from a wide range of cocktails, champagne and wine.
Next to Central station
Tempus is in the Grand Central hotel which is in the heart of Glasgow and attached to Central station. St. Enoch and Buchanan Street underground stations are a short walk away. If you are driving, there is an NCP a two minute walk away.
Tempus is ideal for a night out with friends; a pre-theatre meal or a romantic rendezvous.
