Roma - City Centre Glasgow Review

  • Rating Meh (Rating 2.8/5)
I feel bad writing an average review but that's what my evening was like. We were sat promptly and a drinks order taken, my friend had wine which was lovely. I ordered irn bru and it was flat, I was then offered a can of it which was better. Starter of bruchetta was burnt, so tasted a bit, well, burnt. I had to wave a server down to ask for black pepper. Mains of carbonara (which came out as a chicken dish.. no bacon so not really carbonara) and a massive portion of spaghetti Bolognese which was scalding hot. One thing that annoyed us was the 3/4 men (who I guess were owners or managers) sitting in the corner on their phones talking and laughing very very loudly, we didn't enjoy the atmosphere. The food was good, and the deal we had was good value for money. Sadly will pick somewhere else for Italian in Glasgow.
