Roma - City Centre Glasgow Review

  • Rating Roma, Glasgow (Rating 3.8/5)
Went for a nice Italian meal with a friend - 5pm offer was 2 courses & glass of wine for £11.95. Lovely food, nice wine, but for set menu not a lot of vegetarian options - but what was there was tasty. There was live music, which added to the atmosphere. The place was very busy, with a birthday party, and lots of other people. It was a bit noisy at times. Seems like a family friendly place as well. Quite unique in terms of decor which was nice...some booths to sit at, soft seating, the overhead lighting is beautiful, at least I thought so with colourful glass lantern style features, and lots of little 'quirky' decorations dotted around the place. Slightly too noisy to be able to really relax, but that may be because it was a Saturday night, but all in all a fun, unique, ambient place. Service was quite good, and food was lovely. Nice for somewhere different to go.
