Roma - City Centre Glasgow Review

  • Rating Nothing to write home about (Rating 2.8/5)
Restaurant kindly brought our booking forward when asked. Busy on a Saturday afternoon & atmosphere was loud but cheerful. Service: took the order, brought the food, didn't offer pepper or parmesan for pizza, checked if we wanted anything else- well we were considering it but by the time they asked we'd changed our mind. Were prompt at bringing the bill. Food was average and portions- well it was a pre theatre so OK. We had the soup which was fine & a chicken in a sweet & sour sauce which was spicy yet unexciting. It seemed to need something else. Pizza- standard, cheese would have helped. Pork -again it was pleasant enough, but nothing special. Value for money- same as most of the surrounding restaurants. As I said, nothing wrong with it but I wouldn't hurry back.
