About Roma - City Centre Glasgow
Had a lovely meal as always
Would recommend Roma for a meal for 2 or a family occasion. The staff are so friendly, always make us feel welcome.
ROMA was Superb!!
Saturday 13th April. My good lady and I had booked a Great deal from 5pm for 2 people x2 course and a bottle of wine for £32.95. Great deal which then became a great experience! Warmly welcomed to Roma and given our choice of several tables by the friendly smiling hostess. Drink order promptly taken by yet another friendly smiling young lady and drink including the free house wine also came promptly. Food order also promptly taken them by another friendly waiter. We opted for starters of prawns and garlic mushrooms, then both ordered 9oz rib eye steaks for a £3.95 supplement but well worth it as the steak was cooked spot on medium and was very succulent. The food was also delivered by yet more smiling friendly staff. We also opted for a desert which was a few pounds extra but great value from the pre theatre menu. We were impressed that the staff were all friendly and happy and attentive without being intrusive and easy to catch their attention when needed. No rush either for the table back. All in all this was by far the best all round dining experience we have come across in Glasgow recently and on our next trip to Glasgow we will be back at Rome hopefully with another good 5pm deal! Our sincere thanks to the management and staff for a memorable enjoyable evening.
Welcoming Italian restaurant in Glasgow city centre
Situated on Bath Street in Glasgow’s City Centre, just around the corner from the Pavilion and Cineworld, Roma is a restaurant offering a blend of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. Roma aims to provide high quality food and service, and prides itself on their experienced chefs using the finest of fresh produce to achieve traditional Italian flavours.

The chefs at Roma use their culinary expertise to create a range of dishes to suit everyone. Some starters featured on the restaurant’s menu include the chicken wings which are slow roasted with garlic, chilli and spices, rosemary and blended fresh tomatoes; or the pane casareccio is a simple yet delicious starter with freshly baked crusty Italian bread served with olives, extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar.
Signature dishes include Roma’s risotto rice tossed with roast chicken and peas with a hint of garlic; the Cajun salmon which is served with salad and dressing; and the penne puttanesca with olives, capers, anchovies, basil and a rich arabiatta sauce.
