Great atmosphere in the centre of town
Had a really lovely lunch here on a busy Saturday yet despite the busyness of the restaurant, we were not rushed and felt completely at ease. Really lovely food and the waiting staff were absolutely wonderful. Hope to be back soon thanks.

Family-run Italian in the city centre
Ristorante Pieno is a cosy Italian eating spot on Hope Street, right in the heart of Glasgow city centre. Opened in 2020, it offers lively vibes and delicious Italian aromas. Diners can choose from a range of dishes, from firm favourites to house specials.
Classic pizzas and pastas
All of the 12-inch pizzas at Pieno are stone-baked for extra flavour before being topped with fresh ingredients. Choices include the Calzone Di Carne stuffed with pepperoni, spicy chicken & ham, and the Pizza Vegetali with mixed roast vegetables, mozzarella & tomato basil sauce. For a bit of national pride, opt for the Pizza Scozzese with Stornoway black pudding.
A house speciality of the pasta section is the Penne Pieno with tender strips of chicken, pan- fried mushrooms, broccoli and red onion in a creamy sauce. Other choices include the spaghetti cozze with fresh mussels, served in your choice of sauce. If creamy risotto is more your thing, then you might enjoy risotto fungi with sautéed mushrooms in a garlic & white wine sauce. Meat lovers can tuck into choices like a 9oz fillet steak with peppercorn sauce or pollo Milanese with breaded chicken breast fillets.
