Piccolo Mondo Glasgow Review

  • Rating Birthday lunch at Piccolo Mondo (Rating 5.0/5)
There was a great buzzing atmosphere when we arrived at a midweek lunchtime and no wonder when you consider the quality of the food and the level of service. Our starters were all good-sized portions and in my case, the potted prawns were delicious. There is such a good range of choices for each course that you couldn't fail to see something you love. The mains were freshly cooked to order and excellent. The deal included a choice of aperitifs and also either tea, coffee or a liqueur. As it was my friend's birthday, she was given ice cream with a sparkler in it and serenaded by the waiters which embarrassed her but entertained us greatly. She was also given a gift which was much appreciated by her. We can't wait to return.
