Piccolo Mondo Glasgow Review

  • Rating Great service, average food (Rating 3.6/5)
Had lunch here with a work colleague on the £12 for 2 courses and a glass of wine deal. The restaurant is a very old school style traditional Italian, which means that its not trendy but quite comfortable, carpets and drapes mean that it's not noisy like a lot of the barer modern places. Service was very attentive and prompt, food was less stellar, I enjoyed my starter and the focaccia bread ok, but my main wasn't all that good, didn't like the sauce on the chicken and the roasted veggies were so underdone as to be inedible. Overall, it was a good place for a business lunch but the food was a bit disappointing, I'm not sure if I would go back.
