Winter warming luxury at Blythswood Square Restaurant
With a grand marble lobby, three story chandelier and sweeping staircase, the five star Blythswood Square Hotel dazzles as soon as you step inside.
The restaurant is just as impressive, with tweed furnishings (Blythswood Hotel has the highest spent of Harris tweed in soft furnishing since the original QE2), velvet curtains, and red fringed pendant lampshades lending what the restaurant describes as a modern Scottish aesthetic. There are also nods to the building’s former residence as the Royal Scottish Automobile Club, with images from the Monte Carlo Rally peppering the inside of the lampshades and menus.
