About Pulcinella Restaurant
Service & food was fantastic.
I look forward to returning to Pulcinella Restuarant, a great italian restaurant
I had the arincini starter and lasagne to follow on the 5pm deal which included a glass of wine. The food was very delicious and the servers very attentive.
The restaurant has thoughtfully arranged seating between the tables to distance between your table and the next due to current conditions and a sanitizing station was set up at the door.
Independent Italian restaurant in Glasgow city centre
An independent restaurant on Hope Street, Pulcinella has long been a city centre favourite for Italian food lovers. Decked out with Italian flags, checked table cloths and large murals, the decor is charmingly traditional.
The set lunch and early evening menus are popular with local workers, shoppers and theatre-goers. As you might expect in an Italian restaurant, a warm welcome seems to have been embedded in the DNA of Pulcinella’s staff.
Italian classics cooked from scratch
At Pulcinella, the food is freshly prepared and served in generous portions. As well as a wide range of thin-based, crispy pizza and traditional pasta choices, Pulcinella serves a popular selection of antipasti, meat and fish classics.
From chicken Parmigiana to steak in a brandy and peppercorn sauce via the house veal, cooked with onions, mushrooms and a cream, there are plenty of carni dishes. Fish lovers are just as well looked after whether diners choose a simple king prawns in garlic butter and white wine or the Mediterranean fish stew which is served with garlic bread.
