we visited on a Sunday evening. Arrived 10 minutes before our booking but weren't seated for another 40 minutes. Despite being empty tables downstairs we were taken to a packed upstairs to a small corner booth next to toilets, where one of our party had to sit on a chair at the end of the booth meaning every time someone needed the toilet she was in the way.
We were offered a free portion of focaccia which we had to ask for twice.
There is a good selection on the set menu, however, the portion size is very small.
The pate was very runny. The lasagne portion was very small and came with nothing, garlic bread would have been good.
The deserts are an extra £5 for sundaes, I asked for hot choc fudge sundae and received chocolate ice cream.
Due to the fact we had waited so long for deserts I just took it. All in we were almost three hours. To be fair the upstairs was busy and one waitress was rushing around serving us all. Its a small cramped area and the very loud table next to us made it impossible to hear each other.
The wine menu is also very expensive, cheapest wine was a blush pinot grigio at £16.50, next was around £22-24
