Love Oko
Oko is a great place to catch up with friends and relax. The food is fantastic and the staff are great. I love the seafood soup with sea bass and the bento boxes are great too. You also get free refills of green tea.

Japanese restaurant on Queen Street
OKO Express is a sleek and relaxed Japanese restaurant on Glasgow’s Queen Street. It is great for a quick lunch during a shopping trip but it would be equally as tasty for an evening meal with friends or family.
Sushi & sashimi
OKO Express offers fresh, authentic Japanese food with a massive range of sushi and sashimi. From Nigiri – sushi blocks with various toppings like octopus and seabass– to Gunkan – battleship shaped rolls of rice wrapped in seaweed – plus a tempting selection of inside out rolls and more.
It is a fish lover’s dream; tuna, salmon, suttlefish, ebi-prawns, scallops – fish is used without fear, as would be expected from an authentic Japanese restaurant.
There are several noodle dishes, specials like the crispy duck roll or the bento boxes and numerous rice dishes – the Katsu chicken curry is particularly popular.
Just to make your choice that little bit trickier, there are numerous side dishes of ample proportion. Juicy, salty edamame beans, gyozo chicken dumplings, grilled chicken or salmon yakatori skewers – it is up to you.
City centre transport links
OKO Express is in the heard of Glasgow city centre and only a few minutes walk from both Queen Street and Central train stations as well as Buchanan and St Enoch’s subway stations.
