NY American Grill Review

  • Rating Cheap and chilled (Rating 3.8/5)
The food was quite good. My partner had wings to start and thought they were really good, I had nachos and felt that they were good however the salsa used was watery which mean the nachos got a bit soggy and not very pleasant. For main courses I had jambalaya and can't complain at all. It was tasty and the portion size was deceptively generous. My partner had fish tacos and unfortunately had to debone his first fillet which was full of bones. The chef however apologised for this and made up a new place of tacos which only had one or two bones throughout. The service was good and the atmosphere was relaxed with the majority of tables taken. As requested on booking we were seating in a booth which meant that we could enjoy our meal without being too close to other tables and hearing the conversations of others around. Overall I'd say it was a good, cheap and chilled out option for dinner and we will no doubt be back to try out other options on the menu.
