Missoula Glasgow Review

  • Rating Not welcoming (Rating 3.0/5)
I booked Missoula via 5pm for Saturday night at 5pm for a party of 6. This consisted of myself and a friend (both over 45), my twin daughters and their friend who are almost 17 + one of their boyfriends who is nearly 19. My 5pm booking said the table was for 2 hours. We got an alcoholic drink from the bar for myself and my friend and the 4 teenagers had soft drinks (2 diet cokes and 2 tap waters). When we arrived we spoke to a young waitress re our booking. She went to find out about our table and never came back! A young waiter eventually helped us. There was a table for 4 with a reservation in our name and he brought over 2 more chairs resulting in 6 of us squeezing round a table for 4. We went to the bar to order food and then sat enjoying our drinks. The aforementioned waitress approached us to say we couldn't sit and drink without food and we explained we had ordered food. Within a couple of minutes she was back to say because we had 'children' with us my friend and I couldn't have another drink! And we had to vacate our table by 6.30pm!! Seriously are they the drink police. It was 5.45pm and we hadn't had our food brought to our table. I know they have a late licence but anyone with common sense and who had looked at our booking would know we were only in for 2 hours so how much drink do they think we would have. She didn't have the best attitude. To top it all we didn't get our 20% off as per our booking. The bill for food was around £62 so we would have saved around £12!! All in all don't think the restaurant should be signed up to 5pm if the are not on top of bookings which are made through them.
