    Fantastic Meal!!

    My husband and I came here for a pre-theatre meal on a Saturday night, and it was one of the best 5pm deals I've ever used. We got the chicken skewers (with sesame flavourings) and the haggis bon bons. Both of them were delicious and the starters were served to us quickly. (Also, the waiter was great! really friendly, asked us what we were up to etc) Mains my husband had a burger - again, it was great. zero complaints. I had the beef brisket, mash, beans and corn on the cob and it was the best brisket i think ive ever had. if you go.. ORDER THIS! We will absolutely be coming back here soon.. cheesecake of the day was peanut butter and oreo and I hate myself for being too full to order some. I WILL get it next time!

    Had the 2 coarse set menu. The mother clucker burger was amazing. My husband had the brisket which was melt in the mouth soft. Friendly staff and prompt service.

Having opened in the summer of 2013, The Meat Bar on Glasgow’s West Regent Street quickly drew acclaim from newspaper critics as well as a strong and enthusiastic clientele. A basement bar and restaurant, The Meat Bar is unashamedly carnivorous although vegetarians won’t go hungry. Stripped back walls and leather booths give it a handsome feel while savoury cocktails such as the Meatojito show a playful side to this fashionable West Regent Street hangout.

As the name suggests, The Meat Bar in Glasgow city centre takes its meat seriously. A specials board shows the butcher’s cuts of the day with the meat sourced from named, top quality Scottish suppliers. The burgers come in a custom-made brioche bun and the house smoker is kept busy slow cooking Kansas style ribs, pulled pork shoulder and ginger-rubbed smoky brisket.
