  I am a bit of a regular and have never once been disappointed. The menu is hugely varied and so theres always something (no matter how fussy your friends might be). The 5pm deal with the bottle of wine is great value for money - I would highly recommend trying it out!

This stylish bar and diner is a firm favourite with the young party crowd who come to Sauchiehall Street to have some fun. With a lively atmosphere and great music the Local lives up to its name, drawing a regular crowd. Ceiling lamps and spherical white TVs add a touch of flair, whilst the underground pool lounge, with five full-sized American pool tables, provides plenty to do if you’re handy with a cue. The menu has something for everyone, ranging from sizzling Mexican
fajitas to homemade gourmet burgers.
All the options could broadly be described as comfort food, although their eclecticism is impressive. It’s not often that you see such a global and unashamedly random menu. With great deals on their gourmet burgers and sandwiches all week, The Local is perfect for lunch whether you’re taking a break from work or taking a break from shopping.
