Favourite place for catching up with friends

I have been to La Vita plenty of times and never had a bad meal, love going there to catch up with friends over food. I can't fault the place and the three course deal is fantastic value for money.

    Great Meal

3 of us visited and had a great meal. Service was prompt & the banter with the staff was excellent. As my husband wanted 2 starters rather than starter & main course on the set menu, the staff advised that it was cheaper to choose from the a la carte menu. They couldn't have been more helpful. Will definitely go back

Bustling Italian city centre restaurant

Authentic Italian dishes in warm and inviting surroundings are on the menu at La Vita on the corner of George Square Queen Street. Part of a family-owned group of Glasgow restaurants, La Vita is open from breakfast right through to dinner. The restaurant is a past winner of the Best Family Dining award from the Glasgow Restaurant Awards.

Great variety of pasta and pizza dishes

La Vita uses only the finest ingredients such as extra virgin olive oil and Dececco pasta to offer a wide selection of dishes ranging from authentic Italian pizza and pasta to tantalising steaks, Scottish seafood, salads and Italian style burgers.

Stone-baked pizzas are a big draw at La Vita. Choices range from the classic and simple Margherita to more racy options such as the chilli-fuelled Inferno. The grill section of the menu has a tempting list of sirloin, rib eye and fillet steaks alongside lamb chops and grilled duck breasts. The chicken Milanese, a chicken breast covered in golden breadcrumbs and served on spaghetti with Parmesan flakes, is always popular. As well as fish and chips, seafood options include the wonderfully light lemon sole fillets which are fried and topped with salsa verde.

Short walk from Queen Street rail station

A two minute walk from the trains, taxis and subway at Queen Street station, La Vita customers will have no trouble getting home after a fine meal.
