La Lanterna Review

  • Rating Rating 4.6/5
warmly welcomed despite our arrival as drowned rats in the torrential rain. we had a lovely 2 course meal for our lunch followed by coffee and the pinot grigio house wine was beautifully chilled and very good. I had penne chilli starter, my friend, salmon cous cous salad, both beautifully presented. the penne was with tomatoes and courgettes but it had a lot of mushrooms too which were not in the ingredients and have allergy to them so not so good. The main courses of the chicken and veal were again beautifully presented and hot and tasty. all in all a delightful time there and we certainly will be back again very soon. The staff were very welcoming.
