Smart hangout in the city centre
Brought to you by the Eden Mill distillery, Jax is a sleek bar situated among the designer shops of Princes Square. As well as glitzy signature cocktails, craft gins and fizz, guests can enjoy a range of small and big plate bar dishes. By day it is a great spot for a shopper’s lunch (maybe washed down by a cheeky glass of Champagne), while by night some of Glasgow’s best live DJs will kickstart your evening out on the town.
Sharing plates, steaks and signature cocktails
Jax serves up small plates, salads, pasta dishes and grill steaks. Choices can change, but tapas options could include the popcorn prawns, the fish tacos and the chicken lollipops. Veggies can nibble on choices like the aubergine & courgette fritters and the cheesy nachos.
Main courses have a distinctly Mediterranean feel and include the sea bass with Dauphinoise potatoes, the seafood linguine and the pappardelle wild mushroom carbonara, while over in the grill section you can enjoy a sirloin or ribeye steak served with fat chips and other sides, plus a choice of sauces.
Signature cocktails include the Tokyo Ice Tea, Pink Russian and Silent Violet. You can also try out a perfect serve Eden Mill gin mixer, as well as wines and mocktails.
City centre transport links and attractions
Jax is based in Princess Square on Buchanan Street, a short walk from Buchanan Street underground, Queen Street Station and Central Station. The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Cineworld cinema and Theatre Royal are all nearby. There are plenty of bus links available, as well as taxi ranks at both stations.
