Grosvenor Casino and Grill - The Riverboat Review

  • Rating Never again (Rating 1.4/5)
Took almost 20 minutes to get seated, another 10 minutes before our order was taken, waited another 25 minutes before the starters arrived (unappetising, chicken barely room temperature in one starter) The final straw was being offered chips instead of parmesan mash with my chicken main course. By this time we'd completely lost confidence in the quality of the service, food and experience. In fairness to the restaurant manager, she did apologise and try to fix things by offering us the meal free of charge if we re-took our seats, but we declined and left. A very poor and frankly unacceptable effort on the part of this eatery - we will not be back. We're not foodies or necessarily into fine dining but we've never had a worse experience than this.
