Elia Greek Restaurant Review

  • Rating Lovely restaurant (Rating 4.4/5)
Having passed this restaurant many times on George Square finally decided to have dinner there and so glad I did. The restaurant is cosy and inviting and the staff are very attentive. First time eating Greek food and reading the menu there was plenty of choice and a large selection of drinks. I had grilled halloumi to start which was delicious and then pasticcio which was layers of pasta with minced beef tomato & herbs with a side of chips and it was very tasty. My partner also enjoyed a starter of lamb meatballs followed by grilled chicken on skewers with rice and salad. The only negative with this dish is that he found it would have been better with a sauce however that was our mistake as there are sauces available on the menu and he forgot to add this when ordering. Plenty of other dishes we liked the look of on the menu so will definitely be returning to try them soon.
