I have never written a review before but after visiting Elia last night I thought I would. This was my husband and I's first night out after having our baby boy and I have got to say this is one of the worst meals I have ever had and I eat out often. For a starter I had Dakos, the hard bread and cold taste of the feta and tomato was awful. My husband got Keftedes, he said it was ok. Being a vegetarian there was not a great choice of mains available to me so I ordered starters and chips for my main - Feta Saganaki and individual spinach pies but after my disappointing feta main I cancelled the Feta Saganaki. My husband ordered Beef Stifado but was told they had no beef so he had not much option other than to take chicken. When my meal arrived it was so dry and not even a drizzle of oil over the salad- when I say salad I mean some lettuce on the plate. My husband did not like his meal either and said it was tasteless also. When asked how our meal was I said tasteless and that I didn't enjoy it -the waiter said thank you - he obviously did not listen to my response. When I repeated myself he shook his head- not good customer service at all!! When we got our bill I was told we had not been charged for the Feta Saganaki - I wouldn't have expected to have been when I did not have this food. There was also no atmosphere in the restaurant no music and a basic looking restaurant, the toilets were not the cleanest either. We will definitely not be back. A complete waste of money for a tasteless, flavourless meal. Very disappointed !!
