Starter, main, oyster ice cream and tea or coffee with tablet for £10 a head was an absolute bargain. Had to pay an extra £1 for bread but hey it was fresh and plentiful. Soup was average and peppery but bruschetta really nice. Spag Bol delicious and I opted for loaded potatoe skins, he I know it's a starter but what I wanted and they were well filled and very tasty. Oysters took us back to days of getting double noughats from the icey… magic! And large teapot for one was a bonus. Cappuccino as expected. Staff a bit slow but very pleasant and helpful. Venue clean as was the cutlery… no watermarks thankfully as I can't abide them! Only complaint was the hard chairs. please add tie on cushions or better still cover seat and back.
