Di Maggio's (City Centre) Review

  • Rating High Standards (Rating 4/5)
It seems like Di Maggio's has been there for ever, but it shouldn't be taken for granted. The food and service is always of a very decent standard (don't think I've ever had a bad experience in all my visits) and the 5pm deal makes it even better value. A huge range of starters and mains, covering pizza, pasta and burgers so no chance of not fancying any of the choices. Only slight criticisms: would be good if soft drinks at least were included in the price as this can add quite a bit to the bill, and - a personal bugbear - several dishes included a one pound supplement. OK, it's only a quid but why include them on the fixed price menu? And why does a straightforward burger cost more than a pasta dish or a loaded pizza?
