Darcy's Review

  • Rating Rating 4.4/5
Been a few times before and had pretty consistent experiences. It's always nice to go to Princes Square as it has an elegent feel to it so we have returned often. The restaurant's appearance/atmosphere are ok - nothing special but definetely not shabby! Everything else however is great. The menu is good value for money (although it's gone up from £10 for two courses to £12, hence, the 4 out of 5 instead of full marks). The food is always lovely. We had vegetables with dips and a prawn salad for starters and a chicken and haggis and salmon and potatoes main course. While the food was very filling my girlfriend could not resist the caramel shotcake and so she went for the full 3 courses. I actually took a picture of her face as she was eating it as she looked in heaven. The service is always good enough but on this occassion the girl was particularly good which only enhanced teh experience more. Highly recommended!
