Excellent place for a special celebration

I arranged a family meal for 6 at the Connich Bar in Glasgow Hilton, to celebrate my mum's 60th birthday. The service from staff there was excellent and the food/drinks were very good. We will definitely be back.

Welcoming Scottish bar in Hilton Glasgow

Part of Hilton Glasgow, Connich is a welcoming bar specialising in cocktails and malt whiskies. Adapted from the Gaelic word meaning to encounter, Connich embodies the warmth and welcome of traditional Scottish hospitality. Paying homage to the natural landscapes of Scotland, a mix of wood panelling and brass features with funky half-moon booths create an elegant, yet relaxed setting. Mood lighting compliments the ever changing Scottish weather.

Contemporary bar food and innovative cocktails

Connich offers a wide range of globe-trotting bar nibbles; soups, sandwiches, main meals and desserts plus, of course, afternoon tea. The antipasti board, tortilla chips ‘n’ dips or the pakora would go well with a craft ale. More hearty appetites might prefer the haddock and chips, beef Bourguignon or chicken tikka masala.

As well as their own inventions, the bar staff can rustle up classic and calorie conscious cocktails along with a concise collection of world bottled beers, craft lagers, specially selected wines and over 22 malt whiskies.

Local attractions and transport

Connich Bar is part of Hilton Glasgow on William Street in Glasgow’s city centre, close to Glasgow landmark Charing Cross. It is easily accessible by train from both the Charing Cross and Glasgow Central stations and is set near many major bus routes. Concerts at the SSE Hydro or the SECC are a short taxi ride. There is on-site pay parking.
