    Great Sunday Linch

This was our second visit for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. Delicious soup, cold cuts and salad, then the Sunday roast followed by gorgeous dessert. Half bottle of Prosecco for £10 was a very good additional deal and the staff and service was excellent- will definitely be back soon.

    Always excellent

I've bought or been gifted lots of deals for Chez Mal - chateaubriand, sides & bottle of wine, 4 course Sunday lunch and this latest visit was for the 2 courses with prosecco or cocktail deal. I love everything about this place, it's a gorgeous building, both the restaurant and bar have a great atmosphere, the food is excellent and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. There was a great choice of cocktails too with this deal. The only thing that annoyed me was the addition of a service charge because I ordered a side dish. The voucher was clear that there would be a service charge if I ordered anything additional, it wasn't that it was unexpected, I was just a bit annoyed that they have that policy.

Vibrant brasserie in Glasgow city centre

Chez Mal Brasserie is in Glasgow’s Malmaison hotel. The building was originally a Greek Orthodox church and the atmospheric restaurant sits in what used to be the crypt. As well as the main dining room, there are three intimate private dining rooms. Adjacent to the brasserie, Mal Bar is cool hangout which is hung with Pop Art. Craft beer, cocktails and a carefully chosen wine list pull in the customers as does the resident DJ on Friday nights.

British ingredients, global dishes

From Cumbrian chicken to Hereford beef, Chez Mal Brasserie uses the finest British produce. The ever evolving menus showcase these ingredients in dishes which range from British classics to more exotic options such as the Keralan monkfish curry or the Moroccan spiced whole chicken. The latter is designed to be shared, as is the Chateaubriand beef. The grill section is always popular and the towering Mal burger has many fans.

As well as a seasonal prix fixe menu, Chez Mal operates a magnificent Sunday brunch with endless starters from the Chef’s table; a selection of main courses including roasts, and a dessert.

Local attractions and transport links
