The food was really genuinely well prepared - hearty, well put together, beautifully spiced - some Indian food is just by the numbers with no care or attention, but not here.
I have to admit I've walked past Charcoals several times in my life and never given it a second thought because it also has a takeaway attached to it, but on the inside its really quaint and is a proper, well run, restaurant which I'll be going back to in no time.
Staff were incredibly helpful - they packed up our entire main meal for us because we were inexplicably stuffed full after the starter.
Prices are amazing too. Not only do you get a starter and main for 12 quid, you also get rice and nan, and poppadoms and spiced onions chucked in for free - those little touches.
Give this place a chance for a really great Glasgow Curry with an amazing central location!
