This place excels in decadence and culture! An extremely grand restaurant in a prime location.
On entry you are greeted as if you were arriving at a hotel - with a receptionist behind a desk - whom personally takes you to whichever floor your table is located on.
Sadly, that is where the attentive customer service ended.
Our waitress was rather abrupt, and rude. when placing our drinks order, i asked for the ginger beer (which was printed on their menu), the waitress harshly said 'We don't sell that'.
Our starters arrived and were of course delicious. However, my main wasn't quite so appealing (pork belly with rice).
Firstly, I wasn't advised that the dish would be spicy - I found it to be quite a fatty. My friend opted for a beef salad from the al a carte menu - which she found delicious.
We also had dessert (paying extra for it), voting for 'a trio of desserts'.
Dessert is my favourite part of a meal, so having the option of three was a treat...However. The portions were rather small considering it cost £8, and the three didn't equate to one whole sized portion.
