This is the second time I'd been to Champagne Central for afternoon tea and this time I was a little disappointed. Previously there has been no issue accepting an online version of the voucher. However after being seated, I was told I had the incorrect code, and when I explained this was the only code I had, I was told I was wrong and the waiter stormed off, for want of a better way of putting it. However one of the managers came over and explained that someone else had a problem opening the attachment with the code, the same day and simply explained what the reference began with and that I could email it to her. After that the service was as expected, sandwiches and cakes beautiful and champagne excellent. I'd still return, it was just a very awkward beginning to what should have been a relaxing afternoon and I shall definitely be taking a printed copy of the voucher if I go again.
