Cafe Andaluz City Centre Review

  • Rating Very disappointing birthday dinner (Rating 3.0/5)
I usually have a great experience in the west end restaurant and decided to come to the city centre restaurant for my birthday. At first I had asked for a Pepsi and the waiter gave me Pepsi Max even though he knew I wanted Pepsi - to his response being "that's what we have on draft". We then ordered 6 tapas on the deal 5pm deal. Two of the tapas were cold and the third one was beef strips which were so tough!! We sent these back and asked for patatas bravas rather than beef (which is a cheaper dish). When these arrived to my horror there was a HAIR in them!! Not only was this disappointing but when we were still waiting on 3 of the tapas my mum was eating her's when I was still waiting so we couldn't enjoy our meal together. The Manager (I presume) stated the chef's were baldy so didn't know why the hair was in the dish and only took the price of one drink off of the bill even though I told him I wouldn't pay for the dish. So really we got £4 off of the bill as compensation. Very disappointed overall.
