Cafe Andaluz City Centre Review

  • Rating Not the warmest of welcomes, how're tasty food made up for that! (Rating 3.4/5)
It was very clear when we arrived that there was an exchange between the guy who welcomed us and the lady who appeared to be a supervisor that I can only assume was about where to sit us. She was visibly speaking about us and made us very unwelcome. We were finally seated around the back area of the restaurant, and this made it tough to be served. We were seated for 10 minutes before a drink order was taken. Positives are that the authentic decor makes for a nice setting, and most of the tapas selection were great (wasn't keen on the tastless lamb dish) and also a brilliant value deal from 5pm. The hostile welcome bothered me, but I wouldn't let it put me off going back.
