Cafe Andaluz City Centre Review

  • Rating Rating 3.0/5
We really enjoyed the overall ambience of the restaurant from the Spanish style tiles and the colourful pillows to the cosy benches we sat on. The food was delicious and we enjoyed sampling each other's choices. However the major drawback for us was the service. One particular male waiter we felt was keen to have our table back and did not have any patience from the initial point of ordering our varied range of tapas (which can be tricky when 4 of you are trying to order different things) to rushing us onto dessert. To top off the end of the evening he stretched over our table to reach for empty wine glasses before we'd even asked for the bill without even apologising for barging through the middle us, which we all found very rude and dismissive. Overall I have been to Cafe Andaluz in the west end and I love the food and atmosphere in general, perhaps if the service was less brusque in the City Centre venue, we would happily venture back.
