Cafe Andaluz City Centre Review

  • Rating Standards slipping.. (Rating 2.4/5)
I went along with a few ex colleagues as we used to frequent Cafe Andaluz when we all worked together a couple of years back and loved it. Of the three of us, only one enjoyed all their dishes. The other two received dishes that were quite cold when they should have been warm so that was disappointing. The puddings were all excellent but the service we received after getting our puddings was more like self service. We waited so long for another glass of water that I got up and got a jug myself. No-one asked if we wanted more drinks or coffees and getting someone's attention to get the bill wasn't the fastest either, yet five staff said "thanks and goodbye" as we were leaving so they were hardly rushed off their feet. There are too many nice restaurants in town to rush back here in a hurry so they need to up their game.
