Cafe Rogano Review

  • Rating Rating 4.6/5
Bang in the centre of Glasgow, in the basement of the legendary Rogano, Cafe Rogano offers tasty, fresh, well presented food. Booking on 5pm you can choose 2 courses from the A La Carte Menu which majors mainly on Scottish fresh fish and shellfish. The smoked salmon with capers just melts in your mouth and the fish of the day always provides an interesting choice. There is a reasonable selection of wines around £20 per bottle and a few by the glass. The table cloths are starched white linen and the staff are young, friendly and smartly dressed. The atmosphere is intimate and reserved and ideal if you want a restaurant to enjoy the food in quiet surroundings. Excellent food and good value.
