Wife & I booked this for a night out. It was booked 4 weeks in advance. The time we booked for was 7:30 on Friday 16th, I received a email confirming my booking couple of days prior, so all looked OK. We arrived at 7:15, the waitress couldn't see the booking, great start...she said its OK, and we followed her to our table.
She sat us in the main restaurant, in a corner of the entrance to the glass sided seating area overlooking George Sq, we thought it was full in there. We were the only people in the main restaurant, no atmosphere (it was like being put in the naughty corner). We ordered our meals and a bottle of wine £24. As we started our meal the first couple after us arrived, she put them in the glass seating area (walking past us)??, second couple came in, again she put them in the glass section??, third couple came in, again she put them in the glass section. All we could hear is noise and people talking from that section, and we looked around us, a vast empty restaurant with only us in it. (I even took a picture of us in this large empty cold room). When we were done (wife failed to finish her chicken) due to all this, waiter took our bill, we were sitting there for 10 min, when waitress came over, I said I was waiting on the change £15.80. Won't rush back.
