Our overall experience was favourable, but unfortunately there were a couple of negatives. The Pinot Grigio had seemingly just arrived and was not at all chilled...the waitress had already put ice into the glass...which wouldn't have pleased some people, but we did appreciate the gesture of trying to get it cool. The salt and pepper grinders were not empty and it wasn't obvious which was which. The air conditioning was put on only as we were about to leave...and it HAD got pretty warm in the sun. The waiter and waitress were very pleasant but there seemed to be a lack of communication between them, resulting in our being asked the same thing a couple of times. As ever, I just always think of the impression visitors ( especially foreign ones! ) would have. For such an amazing setting..right in the heart of Glasgow surrounded by so many icons of our city....everything should be not just great but PERFECT...and why not?!!
