Barolo Grill Review

  • Rating First visit and sadly my last (Rating 2.8/5)
Found the early evening menu limited (OK so I'm fussy!!!!)so selected from the a la carte. We chose the foccacia with sea salt and rosemary to share for the starter. The focaccia was not the thin pizza type base I've had elsewhere many times but really thick chunks of quite stoggy bread which came with oil and tomato dips with some past its best iceberg lettuce in the middle of the plate. Gave up after a couple of bites as it really was not to our taste . Then came the lasagne topped with salad leaves sitting in a dish of tomato sauce.Sorry but I've had much better elsewhere.Maybe we just made the wrong choice from the menu. Restaurant was really busy on an early Sat evening.
